South Portland-Cape Elizabeth Rotary Club Christmas tree sale, kicks off on Friday, Nov. 25, at noon, Mill Creek Park, South Portland. Sale hours are Monday-Friday, noon-8 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Scarborough Rotary Club Christmas tree sale, kicks off on Friday, Nov 25, at the Citgo station in Oak Hill. Christmas trees and wreaths will be available through Dec. 23. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Santa at Scarborough’s Memorial Park, Saturday, Dec. 3, 5 p.m. Santa will assist in lighting the holiday tree and meet with children. Event also includes a fireworks show.

3rd annual Santa Hustle 5K and Half Marathon, Sunday, Dec. 4, 7 a.m., at the Maine Mall in South Portland. Participants are encouraged to don Santa hats and beards. All proceeds benefit Easter Seals. Coats for Seniors drive, now through Wednesday, Nov. 30. Drop coats off at Scarborough Community Services. For each coat collected, L.L. Bean will donate $5 for fuel assistance for seniors in need and Goodwill will provide a $30 voucher for a senior to buy a coat. Clean, gently used coats only. Call 730-4150 for more.

Sand for Seniors, The Explorers Club at the Scarborough Police Department is offering free buckets filled with sand to local seniors. Call 730-4244 to schedule a delivery.
