I am the mother of Sarah Lynne Nguyen, the 17-year-old girl who was hit last Saturday in Biddeford.
I wanted to let you know Sarah is still fighting her way back to being Sarah. All prayers are welcomed and each one counts.
Sarah has always been such a beautiful girl and always brave. Let’s give her some more courage and do something for Sarah. All ideas are welcomed and she could use a lot of cheering up.
Thanks and thank you for mentioning our daughter. Her father, Eric Nguyen and I are very thankful for all prayers from everyone as well and so thankful we still have our daughter here today to hold tomorrow.
Thank you Jesus.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
