
He was born Oct. 5, 1935 in Quebec, Canada, a son of Josephat and Elizire (Roux) Fecteau and was educated there. He came to this area in 1965.
On Aug. 1, 1959, he married Francoise Beaulieu in Packington, P.Q., Canada.
Mr. Fecteau had been employed as a bodyman at Weir’s Motors for 25 years, retiring in 1995 due to illness.
Clement loved gardening, card playing and fishing of all kinds. He also enjoyed doing body work as a pastime.
He was preceded in death by: his 11 siblings. He is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Francoise Fecteau of Lyman; four children, Sonia Gagnon and her husband John of Lyman, Carl Fecteau and his wife Ruth of Charlestown, Indiana, Michael Fecteau of Dallas, Texas, and Gina Poulin and her husband Paul of Lyman; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
