WATERBORO — A free slideshow and discussion program about Maine farms is being sponsored by the Massabesic Center for Adult Learning and will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday will take place on Thursday in Room 15 in the Massabesic East Building at Massabesic High School, West Road, Waterboro.
Mary Quinn Doyle, an author and photographer, volunteered to travel throughout Maine over a three-year period. She visited and documented over two hundred Maine farms with stories and photos. Doyle is the author of a 296-page book entitled Unique Maine Farms and creator of the website: www.uniquemainefarms.com
Any individuals interested in learning more about thevaried and innovative agricultural undertakings taking place throughout Maine are invited to attend.
