Not just on Veterans Day, but every day Americans should be proud to place their right hands over their hearts, then salute all veterans of many years who have risked their own lives to keep America safe.
Our servicemenhave fought many battles to allow Americans to live in the land of the brave and the free.
They are men who deserve to be honored by all of us Americans. These men are strong, courageous, honorable proud men and all because of them we still are the land of the proud, the brave and the free.
All of us Americans should give them the honor they all should get from us. To this day we still have men who are willing to risk their own lives for us if it is needed from them.
So Americans show them you honor and care about them. Stand proudly and salute them all for what they have given to us.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
