The 23-year-old Portland woman who was hit by a car on Forest Avenue Tuesday remained in critical condition at Maine Medical Center Wednesday.

Brittany Weston was hit near the I-295 interchange at Forest Avenue about 8:29 a.m. by a silver minivan. She was transported to the hospital with a serious head injury, police said.

Although police reconstructed the crash, it was unknown whether Lukas Rosov, 35, the driver of the minivan that struck Weston, was charged Wednesday, and Lt. Robert Martin did not return a call for comment.
