BRUNSWICK — On Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Landing Y, Nancy Ault, 4th degree black belt in Goju Ryu karate, will conduct a Women’s self defense class. Ault, has been teaching at the Central Lincoln County YMCA for 21 years.
Participants will learn principles of awareness and some basic self- defense techniques. Comfortable shorts/pants and a t-shirt are appropriate attire. The class is available to folks ages 10 and above and is limited to 16 participants. The fee is $25 for both Y members and non-members.
