TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade boys soccer team concluded its season recently.

The Eagles went 9-0-1 this season.

In a battle with Lewiston, Mt. Ararat and the Blue Demons played to a 3-3 deadlock. Carson Taylor, Sean Rethi and Ryan Robertson each had a goal for the Eagles, while goaltender Duncan Paetow had eight saves. Nathan Horrocks stood out defensively.

Mt. Ararat took on “Battle of the Bridge” rival Brunswick and came away with a 3-1 victory. Taylor, Spencer LeClair and Jay Kearney picked up a goal apiece, with Paetow the winning goaltender. Nolen Timberlake, Tristan Parker and Ben Anderson led the Mt. Ararat defensive effort.

Brunswick’s Tommy Labbe scored for the Huskies.

Mt. Ararat rolled to an 8-2 win over Oxford Hills. Paetow, Lyle Greenstone and Timberlake had two goals each, with Kearney and Nick Lemelin adding a goal apiece. Alex Live and Isaac Morgan split the goaltending duties with six saves combined, while Zach Ridlon and Anderson were solid on defense.
