By next year this time the long vacant former St, Ignatius Church and school in Sanford will be busy again, as tenants move into 66 new senior citizens apartments in the renovated building and addition. On Oct. 17, there was a formal groundbreaking with officials from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland and city officials including: Diocese Chief Financial Officer Dave Twomey, Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council director James Nimon, the Rev.
