KITTERY — What’s more American than apple pie? Pie for veterans.
A Perfect Move hosted the 7th Annual Pie Bake & Auction on Oct. 7 to benefit Veteran’s Count, helping Maine veterans and families.
The event, which judged not only which pies were award-winning quality but also which raised the most for veterans, raised $2,000 for Easter Seals Maine’s Military and Veteran Services. A check presentation is planned in time for Veterans Day.
“It was a great day,” Director of Military and Veterans Services for Easter Seals Jeremy Kendall said. “A Perfect Move really captured the American spirit with this event and the funds raised will go far to help our veteran community in Maine. We couldn’t be more grateful for their support.”
