CAPE ELIZABETH — A Beatles music scholar is giving two presentations at Thomas Memorial Library on Saturday, Oct. 22.
Both presentations by Aaron Krerowicz, the only full-time professional Beatles music scholar in the country, will be free. The library is at 6 Scott Dyer Road.
“The Influence of American Rock ‘n’ Roll on the Beatles,” will go from 2-3:30 p.m. It will focus on the American musicians who inspired the Beatles before the band started recording its own music, and will include side-by-side musical comparisons.
“The Beatles: Band of the ’60s,” will run from 7-8 p.m., and will cover the band’s history and a musical analysis.
