NEW GLOUCESTER — Former Lisbon High School standout Nick Harriman was the top finisher for the University of Southern Maine in Saturday’s State of Maine Cross Country Championships.
Harriman finished 29th in 26:53.9, good for 25th overall.
USM finished fourth out of 10 teams in the event, with Colby taking the team title.
The Huskies next compete in the Little East Conference Championship on Oct. 29.
For the second time this season, Harriman was recognized as the men’s cross country Rookie Runner of the Week in the LEC.
