Alaska Flyfishing Tour, 7 p.m. in Scarborough

Pudge Kleinkauf has fished throughout Alaska for rainbow and cutthroat trout, among other fish. She has owned and operated her own guide service, Women’s Flyfishing, for 29 of the 45 years she has lived in Alaska. She will give a slide presentation of some of Alaska’s most notable fishing locations at the Sebago Trout Unlimited chapter’s monthly meeting at Camp Ketcha, 336 Black Point Road. Morse Pond’s New Trail, 12:30 p.m. in Georgetown

The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust is hosting the opening of a new trail at Morse Pond Preserve. Come for a guided or self-guided walk to the picturesque Morse Pond. No cost, all welcome. Trust Maine Conservation Corps Environmental Steward Charlotte Thompson, who has been working on the trail throughout the summer, will lead the hike. Thompson will talk about the trail building process, the significant wetland habitats protected by the preserve, and the locations with ties to township history. Native Plant Workshop, 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12, Falmouth

Join Maine Audubon at Gilsland Farm for a two-hour seminar on fall native plants and seed sowing. Most native plants propagate naturally outdoors over winter, and starting native plants from seed is an economical way to benefit your landscape. This workshop will focus on do-it-yourself seed propagation of native plants. Propagation of trees, shrubs, wildflowers and ferns will be covered. Participants will leave with several seeded pots.
