A handful of girl’s teams are looking to qualify for the playoffs in the finals games.
The Wells volleyball squad currently holds the final seed in the Class B playoff picture. The Warriors have been on a roll recently, earning wins over Thornton Academy, York and George Stevens Academy.
Wells volleyball coach Ryan Fairchild has been pleased with his club’s recent performance.

The field hockey team has also had a solid campaign, hoping to take a shot at the state title as well, along with the cross country squad, which has enjoyed a strong season atop the standing throughout the fall.
Although the girl’s soccer team has had a down season, it still looks to finish strong this week and earn its first win of the fall.
