SOUTH PORTLAND — Ethan Spaulding scored four goals Thursday, and Jeremiah Hammond added two goals and two assists to lead Greater Portland Christian to a 10-0 victory against Chop Point in a Class D schoolboy soccer game.
Spaulding collected his 95th career goal for the Lions (4-8-1) against Chop Point (2-9-1), which moved him into fifth place all-time among Maine boys.
Hammond’s second goal was the 50th of his career, which is third in school history.
GORHAM 11, NOBLE 0: Kyle King had four goals and an assist to lead the Rams (12-0-1) over the Knights (4-9) at North Berwick.
King scored three goals and Jackson Fotter had another as the Rams built a 4-0 halftime lead. Fotter finished with three assists. Ethan Orach, Cooper Lyons, Nick Sturtevant, Nolan Brown, Kyle Patterson and Garrett Higgins scored in the second half.
Alex York and Trevor Gray combined for five saves for Gorham. Noah Safford stopped nine shots for Noble.
MARSHWOOD 1, BONNY EAGLE 1: Noah Caramagno scored from Riley Dinsmore-Patch with 10 minutes left as Marshwood (7-5-1) rallied to tie the Scots (3-7-2) at Standish.
Bonny Eagle took the lead with 3:26 left in the first half when Ryan Moody scored from Regan McCleary.
Sam Leathe finished with 10 saves for the Hawks. Brady Grass made eight saves for the Scots.
FALMOUTH 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Hayden Farr and Olin Rhoads scored as the Yachtsmen (9-2-1) beat the Patriots (6-6-1) at Gray.
Farr scored with 33 minutes remaining and Rhoads made it 2-0 with 26 minutes left.
John Villanueva and Brannon Gilbert combined for 14 saves for Gray-New Gloucester. Jack Scribner stopped two shots for Falmouth.
BRUNSWICK 8, CONY 0: Everett Horch scored a pair of goals for the Dragons (4-6-3) against the Rams (5-8) at Brunswick.
Henry Doherty, Emmet Taub, Chris Glover, Chris Roderick, Jared Hummer and Sagar Dahal also scored.
Josh Dorr and Max Gramins combined to make five saves to record the shutout.
SCARBOROUGH 8, MASSABESIC 0: Noah Stracqualursi had three goals and one assist as the Red Storm (10-3) cruised to a win over the Mustangs (2-11) at Waterboro.
Noah Drapeau added one goal and two assists, and Marc Gurette, Cameron Thibault, Ben Batoosingh and Owen Tyson each scored one goal.
Chris Franklin and Morgan Pratt combined to make six saves for the Red Storm. Joshua Castonguay finished with 13 saves for the Mustangs.
PORTLAND 4, SANFORD 1: Alex Frank had one goal and two assists, and Pedro Fonseca added one goal and one assist as the Bulldogs (9-3-1) downed the Spartans (5-7-1) at Sanford.
Alex Millones and El-Shadai Ngandu also scored for the Bulldogs, who led 2-0 at halftime.
Mason Scully answered for Sanford.
YARMOUTH 8, FREEPORT 0: Seven players scored as the Clippers (10-2) cruised over the Falcons (6-7-1) at Yarmouth.
Matt Dostie scored two first-half goals to help the Clippers gain a 5-0 halftime advantage.
Freeport goalies Joey Burke and Atticus Patrick combined to record 12 saves. Cal Owen and Michael Hagerty combined to stop two shots for Yarmouth.
RICHMOND 5, VALLEY 0: Matt Holt scored a pair of goals to lift the Bobcats (11-1) to a victory over Valley (4-7) at Richmond.
