BANGOR — Cassidy McCarns scored her first two goals of the season to lead the Bates College women’s soccer team to a 4-0 victory over the Husson University Eagles Sunday afternoon.

The Bobcats (3-8-1) used a dominating first half performance to jump out to a big early lead against the Eagles (6-6) in the victory.

Former Mt. Ararat standout Torri Pelletier scored her first goal for Bates, giving the Bobcats a 3-0 halftime lead.

The Bobcats are back in action Thursday for their final home match of the regular season, a 4 p.m. contest against Thomas.
