SMCC fall sports season winds down

The regular season for Southern Maine Community College’s fall sports teams is rapidly coming to a close. Baseball finished its fall season 4-2-1 after an 8-7 win over Holyoke Community College. The Seawolves host the Yankee Small College Conference Baseball and Softball Fall Invitational this weekend. Men’s soccer lost at home to U. Maine-Machias last weekend to fall to 5-3-1 (3-2 in conference). SMCC hosts Unity College Saturday and Dean College Monday. The women’s squad was 4-5 (2-3 in conference) after a 3-1 home loss to U. Maine-Machias and a 3-2 victory at Central Maine CC. The Seawolves are home with Unity College Saturday and Dean College Monday. Golf competes in the USCAA Nationals Sunday in Pennsylvania.

SMCC hosting baseball alumni game

Southern Maine Community College is hosting its first annual baseball alumni game Sunday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. FMI, goseawolves.com.
