OGUNQUIT — Ogunquit Performing Arts celebrates its 10th Annual Elizabeth Dunaway Burnham Piano Festival by bringing two renowned pianists to the Dunaway Center in Ogunquit. This year’s festival features the music of the masters, as performed by two international artists, Victor Goldberg, and Janice Weber.

On Friday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m., Victor Goldberg opens the festival with a program, including Scarlatti, Mussorgsky, and Chopin.

On Oct. 8 at 8 p.m., Weber will perform works by Beethoven, Czerny, Grieg, Schumann. The performance will also include a “ferociously difficult” etude by Franz Liszt, the composer with whom she is frequently identified for her interpretations.

The festival concludes on Oct.9, with a 3 p.m. student piano recital showcasing the area’s best young pianists.

 
 
Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door, $25 for the series and $5 for student. They may be purchased at the Dunaway Center, 23 School St. in Ogunquit, the Ogunquit Camera Shop, at 41 Shore Road, the Ogunquit Welcome Center, 36 route 1, and the Arts Ogunquit Building, at 142 Main St, through Oct. 6.

Tickets may also be purchased online at ogunquitperformingarts.org until one hour prior to each concert.
