LISBON
Lisbon police arrested a woman after a stabbing early Sunday morning outside Farwell Mill Apartments parking lot on Lisbon Street.
At 1:58 a.m., police received a report of two women and a man fighting at building’s parking lot. Officers located two of the three persons involved in the altercation.
The third person involved was reportedly stabbed at least twice in the arm and neck before she ran from the scene. Police found blood at the scene, and a canine search led them to the area of Village and Park streets.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., officers made contact with the victim, a 32-year-old woman residing in Lisbon, at a nearby apartment. Police said her wounds were consistent with having been stabbed, but that she declined medical attention.
About three hours later, police arrested Lindsay Knight, 38, of Lisbon Street and charged her with aggravated assault. She was released on $500 cash bail, and is scheduled to appear Dec. 7 in Androscoggin County Superior Court.
Police have recovered the weapon used and are urging any witnesses to contact Sgt. Harry Moore at (207) 353-2500.
