I have known Brownie Carson for more than 40 years. We worked together on a military discharge upgrade project to assist less fortunate veterans whose behavior got them less-than-honorable discharges, when today their behavior would have been recognized as post-traumatic stress disorder and been treated. Brownie was one of several law students whom I recruited to argue cases before military discharge review boards. He enthusiastically signed on, and showed both a determination and a compassion that I greatly admired.

Years later, I got reacquainted with Brownie during his tenure at the Natural Resources Council of Maine. He again demonstrated he knows how to get things good and important things done.

I wholeheartedly support Democrat Brownie Carson in his candidacy to become the next state senator for Brunswick, Freeport, Harpswell, North Yarmouth, and Pownal in Senate District 24.
