Maggie is a sweet, lovable black and white cat who is hoping for a new home. Maggie came into ACAR when her very devoted caregiver was placed in a care facility that would not allow for a family pet. So Maggie is making the best of a new foster home until a new home can be found for her. Maggie would prefer a home where she could relax in a sunny window, with a few simple toys for play time, and would like all the attention she can get from her family members. Maggie has never been exposed to the outside world, so she is looking to continue her an indoor-only lifestyle.

Maggie is already spayed, is current on all necessary vaccinations, front-lined, wormed and has passed her wellness exam. She is looking for a single person or family that would like to add her to their family.

In addition to the featured pet of the week, ACAR has a nice selection of kittens, a good number of young adult cats and a limited number of older adult cats also looking for their forever homes.

To feed cats until they are adopted ACAR needs cat food. ACAR is spending a fortune on canned cat food, dry cat food and litter just to meet its day-to-day basic needs. Food donations may be dropped off at Another Chance Thrift Shop on 37 Market St., North Berwick, or call 676-5599 for pickup.

For those interested in adopting a pet, check out adoptable pets at petfinder.com in the 03906 zip code.
