BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Downtown Association’s
12th Annual Benefit Auction will be Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5-7:30 p.m. at The Daniel, 10 Water St., Brunswick.
BDA’s Live & Silent Auction is the largest fundraiser of the year for the organization and all proceeds will support BDA community events and programs including the expanded downtown holiday lighting plan, Music on the Mall Summer Concert Series, BDA’s Community BBQ, Brunswick Outdoor Arts Festival, Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa, the Early Bird Sale and Rolling Slumber Bed Races.
The Silent Auction will open at 5 p.m. The Live Auction will begin at about 6:30 p.m. Items include season tickets to Maine State Music Theatre, day sail on Casco Bay, Cinema and Symphony tickets, overnight packages, framed artwork, hand crafted jewelry and items have been donated by local businesses and organizations.
Auctioneer John Bottero of John Bottero Auction Services, will MC the evening. Musician Jonah Howard will perform.
