Joanna Clarke and Joel Crowley play Bonnie and Clyde in the Portland Players’ season opener, “Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical,” starting Friday, Sept. 23.

“Being Mortal,” a film that follows physician Atul Gawande as he thinks about death and dying in the context of being a healer, will be shown at the Magic Lantern Theater in Bridgton at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and 6 p.m. Sept. 26.
