CAPE ELIZABETH — Three candidates will compete for two Town Council seats in the Nov. 8 municipal election, according to the town’s website.

Incumbent Councilor Caitlin Jordan of 83 Old Ocean House Road will face Shannon Auritt of 10 Wainwright Drive and Penelope Jordan of 21 Wells Road, who has served on the council in the past.

Two seats on the School Board will be uncontested, with incumbent member Susana Measelle Hubbs of 18 Belfield Road and Kimberly Carr of 19 Rock Crest Drive qualifying to be on the ballot.

Absentee ballots will be available about 30 days before the election. Two candidate nights, sponsored by Cape Elizabeth High School students, will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 13 at Town Hall, and will be broadcast on local cable Channel 3.
