BELFAST — Police say a man is dead and a woman has been injured after a head-on collision.

WABI-TV reports that 29-year-old Kevin Hustus was heading north on the Route 1 bypass in Belfast around 8:30 p.m. Sunday when his car collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Deborah Brady.

Hustus died at the scene. Brady was flown to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor with injuries considered non-life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
