Yarmouth field hockey coach Amy Ashley earned her 100th career victory last Thursday with a 6-0 win at Lake Region. Ashley, who won 97 times in her eight seasons leading Cheverus, led the Clippers to three victories in four games to start the 2016 campaign. Ashley is also Yarmouth’s softball coach and assistant athletic director.

“I have been so fortunate to have been able to coach so many incredible young women over the past nine seasons,” said Ashley. “This is a proud moment for Cheverus’ field hockey program as well as Yarmouth’s. The girls are the ones who deserve this honor, as well as my assistant coaches. I’ve always wanted to coach and I can’t believe how fast the years have gone. This is a special moment and I’m very lucky to have such a supportive husband and family by my side.”
