Dr. Obery’s occupation was as a dentist and he is now retired.
The couple’s children include: Curtis and Lisa Obery of Cumberland; Christopher and Gina Obery of Norfolk, Virginia; Kevin and Jan Obery of Topsham, and Eric and Sharon Obery of Portland.
They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A celebration was held on Aug. 21 at the home of Curtis and Lisa Obery with friends and relatives.
The couple were married on Sept. 8, 1956, at Sacred Heart Church located in Waterville.
