PEOPLE PLUS IS THANKING donors who dropped off school supplies for the teens of the Brunswick Area Teen Center in grades 6-12 as they prepare to go back to school. A collection box is located in the lobby of the People Plus Center on 35 Union Street and items are still needed. People Plus is accepting string bags, packs of blue pens, 1.5 inch 3-ring flexible plastic binders, No. 2 pencils, three-hole loose leaf paper, two-pocket folders and subject dividers. Back-to-school means its time for the Teen Center back to school annual appeal campaign kickoff. The Teen Center is starting its 11th year and has served thousands of teens over the last decade in this free program providing a safe place for area teens to go after school for games, technology, crafts, free healthy snacks and meals, homework help and peer support.
