Drivers in Lyman concerned about a woman driving erratically were able to box in her car until state troopers arrived and arrested her.

Maine State Police received a report of an intoxicated driver on Hill Road in Lyman around 10:20 a.m. Monday.

When troopers arrived at the scene, they found other motorists who had seen Katharine Sweester, 31, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, allegedly driving erratically in the area.

The other drivers used their cars to box in Sweetser’s vehicle until police arrived.

Sweetser was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and taken to the York County Jail, where she refused an Intoxilyzer test, according to police.

She posted $400 bail and was released.
