The Mountainview Woodies Classic Boat Club will hold its Classic Boat & Car show on the Naples Causeway Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday Aug. 13.

The free event features shows and parades of restored antique cars and boats. The event also features rare 1960’s “Amphicars,” cars that also ride in water.

The “Water Parade” will start at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12 from Brandy Pond and proceed along the Causeway to the town dock.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., antique boats and and cars will line the Long Lake waterfront along the Causeway.

The Mountainview Woodies are a group of enthusiasts interested in antique and classic boats of all types, including those made of wood, fiberglass, and aluminum. The group is a chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society.

For those with an antique boat or auto interested in display, registration is free on a first come-first served basis from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. before the show. See staff at the show tent on the Town Dock. Parking and food are available along Route 302 and Route 114.
