
Serving as maids of honor were Hannah and Sarah Judd, sisters of the bride, from Brunswick, while the bridesmaids were Carolyn Posner of Washington, D.C. and Christine Miller of San Francisco, California.
The best man was Danilo Lobo of Rio de Janiero, Brazil, and the groomsmen were Andrey Perez, Eduardo Ramos and Kaue Garcez, all of Brasilia, Brazil. The ushers were Claire Butler and Brett Butler, cousins of the bride.
The flower girls were Luiza and Bianca Nepomucenoer, nieces of the groom, from Brasilia, Brazil.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Randy Day, organ, and Craig Collins and Clay Collins, trumpet, uncles of the bride.
A light reception was held at the church, followed by dinner and dancing on Mere Point, with music provided by Band of Gold.
The bride, daughter of Robert and Cristle Judd of New York, New York, and Brunswick, is a graduate of Brunswick High School, Wellesley College and Universidade de Brasilia. She works as a communications analyst for the U.S. Agency for International Development.
The groom, son of Angelo and Wania Garcez da Luz, obtained B.A. and M.A. degrees from Universidade de Brasilia. He works as a finance and control analyst at the Comptroller General of Brazil.
After a wedding trip to Middle Bay, the couple lives in Washington, D.C.
