Gorham police are investigating a one-vehicle crash on Dingley Spring Road extension Thursday night that injured the driver and left his vehicle partially submerged in a bog.

The crash was reported about 8:30 p.m., when officers found Alfred Macintosh, 44, of Standish outside his 1998 Chevrolet Camaro. Police learned that Macintosh was traveling south at a high speed when he lost control of the vehicle.

The car struck several trees when it left the roadway before coming to rest in the bog below.

No additional information was available Friday night.
