Sisyphus was the king of Corinth. He was infamous as the most cunning rogue on earth. He committed a crime against the gods, who condemned him to an eternity of hard labor.

He had to roll a large boulder up a steep hill. After strenuous pushing he had pushed the rock to the top, only to have it spontaneously roll back down again. And he did it again and again.

In today’s political arena, Hillary Clinton is saddled with many boulders to roll uphill: Paula Jones, “Cattle Futures for Dummies,” Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky, email and the attack on Benghazi.

Will these rocks cluster together, causing an avalanche and smothering her presidential candidacy eternally?
