WELLS — Wells High School held its 113th Commencement at Warrior Memorial Field on June 12. One hundred and ten students received their diplomas in a graduation ceremony that was video recorded.

In July, the recording will be aired on Time Warner channel 3 in Wells and Ogunquit. The cablecast will run through July 17, Friday through Sunday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4 p.m.

At the graduation ceremony Harrison Woodman sang the nation’s national anthem, WHS Principal Eileen Sheehy welcomed audience members with opening remarks and Class President Anna Furness and Class Vice President Mikaela Littlefield introduced speakers including Salutatorian Tamar Cimenian, Valedictorian Kate Macolini and Class of 2016 advisors Kristen Thompson and Paula Brayson who, together, provided the commencement address.

School Committee Chair Helena Ackerson, School Committee Vice Chair Jason Vennard, Superintendent Jim Daly, Principal Sheehy and Assistant Principal Josh Gould passed out the diplomas.
