A man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries about 9:35 Wednesday morning, when the car he was driving collided with a cement mixer.

Richard Dupont, 57, of Cornish was injured while trying to make a left turn from Route 25. The cement mixer, which was traveling west, had a green light when it struck Dupont’s Buick, said Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy Howard Brown.

The driver of the cement mixer was not injured. Dupont was not charged.

Traffic was backed up briefly on Route 25 in Standish, Brown said.
