AUGUSTA — Police responded to a fatal accident on Eastern Avenue on Tuesday night.
Eastern Avenue, which is also Route 17, was shut down between Spring and Leavitt roads due to the crash.
Augusta police confirmed the accident involved a fatality, in the area of 712 Eastern Ave.
