Bowdoin College runner Matt Jacobson, 21, of Westfield, Massachusetts, and women’s course record holder Erica Jesseman, 27, of Scarborough were the overall winners in the 8th annual Portland Sea Dogs Father’s Day 5K on Sunday.

Jacobson, a rising senior at Bowdoin, finished in 15 minutes, 44 seconds. The 2015 Father’s Day winner, Julian Gazzelloni, 24, of Windham, took second in 16:06, and Daniel Raboin, 24, of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, placed third in 16:17.

Jesseman’s time of 16:49 was good enough for sixth place overall and a 2-minute margin over women’s runner-up Christine Hein (18:53), 41, of North Yarmouth. Erin Flynn, 37, of Newton, Massachusetts, finished third in 18:59.
