A large group of local wrestlers made the long trip to Athens, Pennsylvania last weekend for the Athens Summer Duals, which featured strong teams from Pennsylvania and New York. Massabesic’s Abi Fitzgerald (99 pounds), Codey Wild (105), Leo Amabile (114), Garrett Francouer (119), Noah Hernandez (126), Micah Fitzgerald (132), Matt Pooler (145), Kyle Smith (155), Noah Schneider (195) and Matthew Carroll (220) were joined by Bonny Eagle’s Tyler Fitz (138) and Sanford’s Sam Anderson (175) at the tournament.
