Firefighters from several towns are battling a large woods fire in Windham.

A Cumberland County dispatcher said the fire was reported around 7:52 p.m. Thursday near 368 Tandberg Trail.

About three acres of woodland are burning, but the fire is expected to be brought under control. No homes are in any danger from the fire.
