Jonathan Moynahan narrowly defeated Jane Robbins in the Republican primary in House District 2, which includes Eliot and parts of Kittery and South Berwick.

With final results provided Wednesday, Moynahan finished with 52 percent of the vote and Robbins had 48 percent.

Moynahan will face Democrat Mark Lawrence in November in the race to replace Democrat Roberta “Bobbi” Beavers of Eliot, who didn’t seek re-election.
