Kitten Shower
At the recent “Kitten Shower” put on by Another Chance Animal Rescue, 24 kittens, including featured pets of the week Alexis and Bonnie, and five adult cats were placed with families. In addition, kitten food and toys, kittie litter and other helpful items were donated. ACAR is grateful to the public for its support.

Adoption hours are every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the adoption center/foster home of Marilyn Harley, 251 Route 4, Sanford. Call ahead to make an appointment during the wekk.
ACAR is in need of dry and wet cat food. Food donations may be dropped off at Another Chance Thrift Shop on 37 Market St., North Berwick, or call 676-5599 for pickup.

All thrift store profits benefit the animals. Donations of items to the thrift store are welcome.
To assist the rescue’s mission of providing a safe environment and quality care for abandoned, abused and lost pets, people can become a Support for Life member by pledging $10 a month. The monthly donations help the rescue meet ongoing expenses and continue its work as a true “no kill” organization.
