CAPE ELIZABETH — Robert Sarka had five goals and two assists Tuesday night to lead undefeated Cape Elizabeth to a 16-2 victory against North Yarmouth Academy in a schoolboy lacrosse game.

Owen Thoreck scored four goals, and Connor Thoreck and James Boeschenstein each added two for the Capers (10-0). Alex Navarez, Samuel Price and Andrew Mitchell combined for six saves.

Jeremy Thelven and Zachary Woods scored for the Panthers (2-8).

SOUTH PORTLAND 17, PORTLAND 3: Jack Fiorini had five goals as 10 players scored for the Red Riots (5-5) against the Bulldogs (4-6) at South Portland.

David Fiorini, Cooper Mehlhorn and Finn Zechman each scored twice. Quinn Watson recorded six saves.

Robert Nolan, Drake McGhie and Kevin Moore answered for Portland.

YARMOUTH 15, KENNEBUNK 13: Pat Grant had four goals and an assist for the Clippers (7-3) against the Rams (6-4) at Kennebunk.

Walter Conrad added three goals and two assists, and Remi LeBlanc scored twice for Yarmouth.

Spencer Thibodeau had four goals and three assists for Kennebunk.

Pat Gassman added three goals and an assist, and Bo Beveridge finished with three goals.

Liam Harke of the Clippers and James Ross of the Rams each had six saves.

DEERING 17, MASSABESIC 8: Andrew Johnson scored seven goals and Nate Richards added five as the Rams (5-5) handled Massabesic (4-6) at Portland.

Bryce Randall added three goals and three assists for Deering. Johnson and Richards also assisted on two goals apiece. Cameron Roy had two goals and two assists for the Mustangs, and Kevin Nguyen contributed two goals and an assist.

BASEBALL

MARSHWOOD 5, SCARBOROUGH 4: Nick Landis’ RBI single was the only hit for the Hawks (8-7) during a four-run sixth inning that beat the Red Storm (10-3) at Scarborough.

Marshwood scored on two errors and a balk in the sixth, and also benefited from another balk and a hit batsman.

Landis pitched a four-hitter for the Hawks.

Tim Carion scored twice for Scarborough.

GORHAM 5, SANFORD 4: Kyle King hit a walk-off single in the ninth inning, scoring Ben Nelson as the Rams (9-4) beat the Spartans (2-11) at Gorham.

King had two hits and three RBI, and drove in two runs with a single in the fifth that gave the Rams a 3-2 lead. Gorham led 4-3 after six, but James Roche singled in Xavier Chase with two outs in the seventh to force extra innings.

Nelson and Gerek Brown each added two hits for Gorham, and Logan Drouin picked up the win, pitching 22/3 innings of scoreless relief. Chase, Roche and Frank Veino each had two hits and an RBI for Sanford. Tyler Burgess also drove in a run.

HALL-DALE 3, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Ryan Sinclair doubled and the Bulldogs (10-4)broke a scoreless game open with a three-run sixth inning to beat the Seahawks (1-13) atFarmingdale.

Cole Lockhart pitched four shutout innings in relief of Quinn Stebbins to earn the victory.
