LISBON FALLS
The Lisbon High School baseball team struck for three runs in the fourth inning en route to a 3-1 Mountain Valley Conference win over Dirigo on Monday.
Tyler Halls went the distance for the 5-3 Greyhounds. He struck out seven, walked one and permitted six hits.
Noah Austin and Nate Havlicek were 2- for-3 at the plate for Lisbon, with Nick Lerette adding a double.
Gavin Arsenault pitched well for Dirigo, holding Lisbon to eight hits with four strikeouts and one walk. Riley Robinson tripled and scored the Cougars’ lone run in the seventh.
Lisbon visits Oak Hill on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

HAMPDEN 7
The host Broncos scored five runs in the third inning and held on for a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win over Mt. Ararat, which fell to 3-5 and hosts Camden Hills on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.
Alex McKenney’s wind- blown three-run home run was the key blow for Hampden Academy ( 5- 3). Cam Scott, Gill Jackson and Andrew Gendreau had two hits apiece.
Cam Cox singled and doubled for the Eagles, with Nate Leslie and Ryan Mello each doubling. Garrett Moody and Jacob O’Neill handled the pitching duties, combining on 10 hits, one strikeout, three walks and four hit batters.
HALL- DALE 12
WISCASSET 1
The host Wolverines managed just one hit in falling to the Bulldogs in MVC action.
Grant Hefler had the lone Wiscasset ( 3- 5) hit. Pitcher Daren Wood worked five innings, allowing nine hits, 10 runs and two walks with seven strikeouts.
Eric Stebbins went the distance for Hall- Dale. He struck out nine and walked two.
Wiscasset visits Mountain Valley on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
FREEPORT 2
FRYEBURG 3
Matt Fuller’s two-run double gave the host Raiders the lead in the fifth inning for a Western Maine Conference win over Freeport, which fell to 3- 5 and hosts Gray- New Gloucester on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Fuller later scored what proved to be the game- winning run on a Falcons error.
Hunter Day struck out four and walked two for Fryeburg’s first win (1-9). He permitted six hits.
Caleb Rice allowed just two hits for Freeport. He struck out three and didn’t walk a hitter. Colby Wagner drove in a run with a single.
