There is one more month left to support the Patten Free Library’s Teen Library Council bottle drive fundraiser.

The council hopes to raise $1,000 by June 1 to help promote and support the creation of a new teen space at the library.

Redeemable cans and bottles may be dropped off at the library; there is a collection bin by the stairwell next to the Children’s Room entrance. Donors may also leave bottles at the West Bath Redemption Center at 340 State Road, or the Bath Redemption Center at 786 Middle St., and specify that your redemption money should go to the Patten Free Library.

As part of that effort, on Saturday, May 7, the council will move the collection bins that are currently inside the library into Library Park.
