A Scarborough man was sentenced this week to almost three years in prison for conspiring to distribute oxycodone and cocaine.

Chad Conner, 33, pleaded guilty in October to taking part in a drug trafficking organization that distributed oxycodone and cocaine from different locations in the Scarborough area. He was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Nancy Torresen to 33 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

Evidence in the chase showed that Conner participated in the drug trafficking organization from August 2014 to April 2015. Multiple co-conspirators would obtain the oxycodone pills and cocaine from an out-of-state source, then gave them to Conner to distribute to customers in the Scarborough area, according to U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II.

The case resulted from a joint investigation conducted by the Scarborough Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
