MIDDLETOWN, R.I. —
Jocelyn Davee of Freeport broke a 6-6 tie with 8:39 remaining in regulation to lift the University of New England to an 8-6 win over Salve Regina on Saturday in a Commonwealth Coast Conference women’s lacrosse game.
UNE improved to 7-4, 3-1 in the conference play.
Davee led all scorers with a hat trick. Davee also picked up seven draw controls and caused three turnovers. Two of Davee’s goals came off free-position opportunities.
The Nor’easters visit Westworth Institute today at 4 p.m.
