The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a hazardous weather warning for Casco Bay in southern Maine and northern New Hampshire. High astronomical tides are expected to combine with long-period waves up to 10 feet, producing minor beach erosion and minor flooding in a few communities during high tide this afternoon. The hazardous conditions are expected to subside by Saturday morning.
