The Depot Street Tap House was proud to host the second annual Women In Business Networking event on Wednesday, March 23. It was a huge success! We are so fortunate to live in a community with many dedicated, hard-working small business owners, who support and encourage each other.
Thanks to everyone who joined us; we were particularly thrilled to welcome Marilyn Geroux, director of Maine’s Small Business Administration. She drove down from Augusta and was very impressed by the solidarity and enthusiasm of the many women entrepreneurs in the Lakes Region. Many thanks also to Anne Krieg, Bridgton’s economic development director, who conceived of the idea and invited Ms. Geroux to join us.
Lastly, congratulations to Kerry and Ed Enos, who won the 50/50 raffle, proceeds of which benefit Family Crisis Services, a local nonprofit assisting women and families in need. The couple generously donated their winnings back to FCS.
Thanks again, everybody. What a great town we live in!
