In September of 2015, a young family contacted Another Chance Animal Rescue concerning a batch of cats and kittens that had been dumped near their home. The couple needed assistance to spay and neuter these animals. ACAR provided the humane traps, the home owners provided the time to get the project underway.
In a second group that arrived was a very pregnant six-month-old black beauty, named Sheba. She was placed into foster care where two days later she delivered four healthy kittens – all have since been placed into loving homes. Sheba was a wonderful, devoted mom and took to living in a home setting with great ease.
Sheba is a black with a speck of white on her head and a patch of white on her belly. She is great with other house pets and will do well with most people.

Sheba would do well with a single person or family that could provide a loving, safe home.
In addition to Sheba, the featured pet of the week, ACAR still has a small number of teen kittens, a small number of adult cats and a few young, healthy dogs all looking for their forever loving home and family.
