PORTLAND — Sandra D. (Chaneski) Perry Wysowski, 64, of Portland, died at home March 13, after a short battle with cancer.

She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on Sept. 10, 1951, the daughter of the late Walter Chaneski and Florence Donald.

Wysowski moved with her family to Portland at the age of 5, and graduated from Deering High School with the class of 1969. She later attended nursing school.

She worked various jobs, including as a single mother of two boys. During the last 20 years Wysowski worked at Cedars Nursing Home, Maxim Healthcare and, most recently, at Falmouth-by-the-Sea as a private duty CNA.

She married Phillip Wysowski on April 6, 2002, and moved into the dream home they built in Portland, where they made many great memories.

Wysowski enjoyed gardening, bird watching, taking care of her many animals, and decorating. She also enjoyed traveling, and loved seeing new places.
